Our pool at NRG Cork is a roomy 20 metres, giving our members ample room to get up to speed, or to relax and ease out their muscles.

Swimming is a great workout in itself, increasing your heart rate and using the resistance of the water to tone your muscles in a zero-impact, effective way. It’s perfect to cool down and stretch after a workout; fantastic for getting beautiful, lean muscle tone, and the ideal way to lose all the stress of everyday life as you glide through the water.

Swimming is also ideal for anyone recovering after an injury, or who wants to gently ease back into exercise. It’s the perfect way to involve all the family in your quest for health, as the earlier children start swimming; the better, and is a fun way to ensure they maintain a healthy level of activity.
