Strength & Conditioning

Strength & Conditioning is a method of improving muscular strength by gradually increasing the ability
to resist force through the use of free weights, machines, or the person’s own body weight. Strength & Conditioning training can provide improvements in overall health and wellbeing. Benefits include┬áincreased general strength, improvements in joint function, reduced potential for injury, increased metabolism and improved cardiac function.

At NRG Health & Fitness our qualified instructors will design programs to target all major muscle groups. Programs are monitored and updated on a 6 week basis to impose increasingly greater resistance or repetitions, which in turn stimulates development of muscle strength to meet the added demand.
